Hey Asshole. I hope you watched the presidential debate. Obama doesn't know what the fuck he is talking about. He doesn't care. You can tell to him its all politics.

I know you have no respect for elderly etc. but as this debate has shown McCain is not just an old man in a suite.

    Hey Johnnie...

Obama kicked McSame's ass last night. ALL of the reputable polls show an Obama win. The majority on Twitter during the debate last night was in agreement, Obama kicked his ass. My Mensa discussion group agreed it was a 44 / 28 Obama win. Oh- I'm sorry, I forgot- if you're smart, the Warpublicans consider you an "elitist". Our president needs to be dumb. I forget that "rule".

Why anyone in their (wrong) mind would willingly pick McBush- and his infamous temper- to go ahead with more of the same failed crap we're already going through now... I simply can't fathom it. It shows an extreme lack of intelligence and wisdom. That is, unless you WANT yet another war started, this time with, say, Russia, and half of it fought on U.S. soil?

Thankfully, as all the polls show- we're heading towards making the right choice with Obama. I'll be able to continue to be proud of my country.

Yes, lets allow Russia to re-conquer their empire because now war is never a valid option even when someone else is actively waging it. I suppose you think America is evil. These dictators and terrorists groups should not be legitimized.

You can get swept up in Obama's rhetoric all you want. McCain sucks as a candidate but is absolutely right on foreign policy, keeping taxes low in a possible recession (look up- economics), not giving Iraq over to Iranian influence and an Al Queda bastion. This shit is not a game. (although the Palin pick was a gimmick)

I'm sure your a 20 something idiot who thinks Obama is hip because he is young and new. He is going to cripple small business with a huge income tax increase on those over 250,000. Most small business owners fall over this mark and small businesses create the largest portion of jobs in our economy.

This is stupid. You been mesmerized already.

Oh, my bad. I don't give a shit about polls, charisma, rhetoric, oratory skills, age, race, or likability.

Issues are what matters. People always get caught up on catch phrases, personalities, and bullshit.

    September 27, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterJohndy

A little too far. I'm no McCain fan, but this picture is just unfair.

Kevin, how did you manage to bring out every batshit extremist with this post? However you did it, I commend you.

Also, that picture is frighteningly accurate.

Polls are pretty useless. Especially this one that admits there were more democrats surveyed, at least a 5 point margin of error, and the sample was small. That kinda skews just a little.

Doesn't matter. Obama will probably win because most people don't like to take the time to analyze issues. They go with who "looks this way" or "delivered a speech well", age, race, etc.

Its all fucking retarded and I don't blame the candidates for using gimmicks, stupid ads, empty rhetoric, lies, mischaracterizations, non important attacks, etc.

Just shows how utterly stupid the electorate is because it works. I mean we have a situation in the middle east that could fucking utterly alter what we will have to do in the future and the candidates are playing political football with withdrawal dates, George Bush's Name aahhhh!, etc.

Its all fucking stupid. But there is only two choices, and socialism, laughable rhetoric, and naivety about real fucking serious problems is not it.

    September 28, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterJohndy

It's typical you'd make such an assumption, that's the stereotype Rush and Sean Hannity are telling you, after all.

You'd be wrong. I'm a 37-year-old former virtual reality developer who's had his life destroyed under Bush administration policies. (As have two members of my family, four of my neighbors, and a few dozen of my former co-workers off the top of my head.)

My biggest concern is health care- and I'll receive no aid under McCain on the matter. After all, his plan is a measly $5000 tax break so you can go "buy your own"? That's the prime-definition of "naive". You can't even buy health insurance for $5k, but if you DID manage to find something that cheap that would actually provide coverage, your co-pays would be $500 a pop, which is not something most people can or will pay. How does $5k help, when I had a single surgery that ran well over $10k? We need nationalized health care, so that our most common-sense basic right: The right to live, and live healthy, exists.

It does now? Sure- I was able to have my surgery, and not pay for it, since I couldn't. But what's the main difference between how things work NOW and how they would work? Under today's system they try to pass the inability to pay off as bad credit against me. Simply for have a life-saving surgery. Also, I cannot receive quality standard treatment. These things would change for +44 million people in this country.

Here's the key: Warpublicans never think of people outside of the lines- they'd rather say someone with no income is entirely to blame for their own problems. That's where they always go wrong. The world is not black and white. It is possible for people through NO fault of their own to have no income. There are instances where people have NO recourse but to seek aid from the government (to get back some of the taxes we've paid in so we can simply survive until we can overcome our specific health or life issue.)

But, I know... according to the "right", such people simply don't try hard enough, or aren't smart enough. It wouldn't matter if such people worked 7 days a week year round, or are college graduates, or have IQs 40 or 50 points higher than them... no, in their world such people simply can't have problems of that nature- so they obviously have thousands of dollars in investments that they can spare to buy their own "affordable" healthcare. And if they can't find work where they live, they can just magically "move" elsewhere, because there are no expenses or difficulties selling/finding housing in moving, of course! It's just them being "lazy". *cough*

Such a limited view of the world it's mind-boggling.

I haven't bought into one catch-phrase during this campaign. I heard Obama speaking shortly after he was elected Senator, and upon looking into him, predicted his rise to the presidency. Why? I don't listen to the "right" wing talking points that are lies, distortions and irrelevant out-of-context.

Obama simply has the better plans this election. And, he will bring the U.S. back some semblance of respectability on the world stage- which the "right" doesn't care about, I understand they'd rather rule the world, than be a part of it.

I don't care about his age. I don't care about race. I don't care about gender. I don't care about party- other than which one has the right plan going forward. And the party that does is the one that isn't sodomizing War because they love it so much they can't live without it.

    September 28, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterJaym

Healthcare is a problem but complete nationalization is not the answer. You say that people cannot find jobs now. Wait until Obama destroys productivity, growth, and job creation by leveling these massive tax increases on small and large businesses so that he can grow government control of peoples lives and have them dependent on its inefficient, ineffective programs.

Andrew Donaldson, you will never be half what kevin is, who cares what his political views are...he is still frickin' awesome

ah liberals, with your idealism only matched by your vast amounts of smarmy and cynical ignorance. its good to see the media isn't really biased though :|

i look forward to when you'll be posting a comic of the obama puppet with oprah's hand up his ass.

There's something wrong with that picture.

    Hmm.....yeah there is.......!

McCain's swollen Thyroid that sticks out of the bottom left of his face isn't exaggerated enough. I don't think it's even there at all. And we all know that his eyes can't open that wide.

    It's a fake I tell ya.

And we all know that Tina Fey doesn't even like John McCain. Why would she be playing Toy Soldiers with him?

Maybe next time Kevin, but not this time. I'm not buying. Got to get up pretty early in the morning, not in a haze, knowing who you are and knowing how to tie a windsor knot to fool me.

I love being a geek but the proven fact is that....people from California are crazy! Out of touch with reality. I went there for Comiccon 08 and the convention was great but, you people are out of touch with reality! Since Obama going to be our next president then I guess I will start saving up to pay everybody else's problems. Just like dealing with my cheating x-wife. :(
    Health care is on me!!!!
