Very nice. Kind of reminds me of that Sigur Ros song you posted forever ago, has that same kind of mellow vibe. And also like someone above said, reminds me of some of NIN's instrumental stuff, like A Warm Place... Can't wait to see where it's going.

I actually really liked it. Is that the full version or just what you guys have so far?

I like stuff like this for dramatic reasons, but now I'm very curious as to what you're going to use this for.

P.S., Reminds me of some Silent Hill score. Or some depressing alternative goth rock song.

That was awesome very soothing. I like so totally started to doze during the song. :).......

    Are you a wizard?

Where was the drum solo?!? Really, though, that was great. I'll write a short story to it. What's this for?

Unless there is money to be made pursuing this, it will not happen. Ergo, it will not happen.

I got it! So a character who is played by Adrien Brody is an alcoholic who just got out of prison for accidentally running over and killing a child while he was drunk. And although he is out of prison he still can't get over the guilt of what he did all those years ago. He stays to himself and manages to get a job at a Toys R Us factory. On occasion when he sees a toy he has flashbacks of the child that he killed and he cries. He thinks about committing suicide on a nightly basis in his run down apartment. Until one day he meets his neighbor who is played by Vera Farmiga. She is a lonely widow who is raising a small girl who resembles the young girl that he killed. At first he wants nothing to do with them because of his dark secret. But finally Brody and Farmiga fall in love and he gets to do something good in his life by raising a girl who had no father...

    Fade out...

Your song plays during the credits...

    Academy award?

I have to much time on my hands :(

First you bought a house. Then you started handling serious topics on THE LOOP. And now you're writing CLASSY music! It's like you've become a responsible adult overnight. What's next? Are you going to ditch AOTS for CNN?

Just kidding. I think your new music is very good, and I too would pay 99 cents for it.

Love it Kevin! Not sure if you are familiar with Craig Armstrong, but that's what I was reminded of with that clip...I'm waiting to buy this and more!

    :)

I don't know why, but it kinda sounds like a more melodic and softer version of music from the X-files. It's like it's soothing but mysterious all in the same. Are you using a keyboard and a sound synthesizer to make this piece? It's pretty cool.

December 5, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterLouis aka spartancsi

    Use FL Studio for that?

Depressing? It was really nice. :] Surprising, really to hear it from you. I guess because I don't personally know you. (Haha.) But just not what I'd expect.
    I liked it a lot.

    December 7, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterKathleen

    December 7, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterCyph

Very nice. Vaguely reminiscent of "A Warm Place" by NIN off of the downward spiral.
