i would have to agree withat blog post. i think that the words or associations between slavery and freedom have been taught in an unrelated manor if that makes any sense. what first comes to my mind are the See Fig. 1 style images in history books of how the Africans were stored in ships and from what i can remember from Roots. by unrelated i mean we are past that now, slavery no, but shipping people from other countries yes. the "masters" if you will, have become a lot smarter in getting the same result without physical force. Peter Joseph's Zeitgeist Addendum explains it best through his break down of debt, how it was developed and how we are all slaves to it. long story short theres no way out of this modern slavery as long as the monetary system is rewarded

I agree completely. Ive been arguing this point for almost a year now with friends. I however am not in Cali, but rather Tennessee Where drivers can barely keep it on the road how it is. Our state just recently put a ban on, ready for this one? Texting! Thats right. So they cant pull you over for looking up a number or finding music on the iphone while im driving to play through the aux. port, however, they can pull me over for texting?! WTF?! Really?! How are they gonna know if im texting or not? It goes back to what you; they will do anything except what helps the general population. Including banging their intern and/or banning pot and other harmless 'drugs' BS BS BS BS BS BS BS BS BS BS BS BS BS!
