Kevye West: 808s & Expiration Dates (Guac Lockdown)

Pitch auto-correction and a simple beat can make anything chart-worthy; even a freestyle about guacamole and expired milk. In case anyone's curious, the music took fifteen minutes, the vocals took five and it was all created in GarageBand with built-in effects. Joe shot the video with me in about six hours over the course of a weekend, assembled a pretty much final edit in an hour, and Luis polished everything up in After Effects in an evening or two.

You know this whole "Momma's dead" uproar has nothing to do with K.P's Youtube parody and everything to do with the fact that he is not black.

I've watched this video at least four times now and I've come to the conclusion that this is some funny-ass shit. I also felt a strange sense of satisfaction while watching this...hmmm.
In any case, good job of showing how anyone can be a singing star with a computer nowadays (although, in fairness to Mr. West, he is a very talented rapper). Your demonstration with Olivia on AOTS was great stuff.
As to the "my momma's dead" line, I'm pretty thick-skinned, but even I thought, "ouch." I understood what you were going for there but the perceived insensitivity of the line by some takes away from what is a good parody of all the manufactured singing that is on the radio. I'm not sure the line was worth it. I mean even the Hip Hop Gamer is after you now, hah! (I hate myself for even mentioning that PS3 kiss-ass).
Congrats on getting over 100,000 views on the Youtube. Get 900,000 more and maybe you can get in the next Weezer video. Anyway, keep up the good work.

Concerning Kanye's mom, I thought that was a brilliant bit. I mean, she was a fat bitch, who, instead of getting on a treadmill to work off the weight, decided to try and take the easy way out.. she knew that it was possible to die during her procedure. And.....She did. I don't feel pity at all.. Another reason NOT to be a fatty!
