Kevye West: 808s & Expiration Dates (Guac Lockdown)

Pitch auto-correction and a simple beat can make anything chart-worthy; even a freestyle about guacamole and expired milk. In case anyone's curious, the music took fifteen minutes, the vocals took five and it was all created in GarageBand with built-in effects. Joe shot the video with me in about six hours over the course of a weekend, assembled a pretty much final edit in an hour, and Luis polished everything up in After Effects in an evening or two.

Nice vid, but I can already hear Kanye's come back. "Kevin Periera did this because he hates black people." This guy takes himself way to seriously to let something as good as this go. Especially if the humor is at his expense.

Hey Kev this was absolutely amazing you just inspired me to download After Effects and start learning to use it to add some nice looking effects to my videos :) I would really appreciate if you could tell me a tutorial or what kind of effect is used it has this nice shinny blue effect makes the video look very high quality :D
