UPDATE: Because I'm still super proud of it, and it's one of my favorite Attack of the Show moments ever, I've tossed in a video of me drumming against Raymond Herrera of Fear Factory from three or four years ago. I think I was twelve. Good times...
And for the record, Raymond is still one of the nicest guys we've ever had on the show. Ever.

Dear god man! You shredded those drums. I agree a score would have been awesome to see, but from the sound of it, you did pretty damn well!

Hi Kevin I just read an article on the net stating that theres a 1 million dollar lawsuit filed against Attack of the Show because some women got angry about being called courgars. I myself find it to be full of holes because I recall plenty of news anchors using the term. Some people are just born without senses of humor I guess.
Holy hell that drumming was epic. I can't wait to get Rock Band 2 and sing some Everlong. I'm torn on which system to get it on though -- the only other person I ever play with has it for 360 and I have it for PS3. So do I give up all the DLC I've bought and get RB2 on 360 so I actually have someone to play with? Or do I just get it for PS3 again and have to settle for playing online with people I can't see or hear? Hmmph. Decisions. decisions.

OK, I'm pissed -- according to Best Buy's website, the 360 version of RB2 comes out tomorrow - but the PS3 version doesn't come out until OCTOBER 19TH?! WTF? That SUCKS. :( I don't want to spend another $200 on Rock Band 2 AND lose all my DLC on top of it... Gah, I really hate video games. Ridiculous.

Wow man, I saw the Coheed & Cambria video before this one. Before watching it, I wasn't really sure what to expect from K-Per. I'm really impressed with your skills for not being a full-time musician. I've been playing guitar for about 12 yrs. now, and I pretend like I'm good at the drums but you definitely have me beat. I really think you have potential, and should keep at it!

Rock Band looks like fun with a group of friends, but they need to do something about the "clickity clack" of the drumsticks hitting the pads- it needs to be made out of a material that you can't hear, so that all you hear is the drums in the game. That clicking would drive me crazy if I were to play.
Not that I would, because A.) I don't know anyone else, so would have to play alone and what fun is that? and B.) I don't like any of the music in the Guitar Hero or Rock Band games to date.

2nd vid : Man, that was wicked!. I didn't know you could play the drums that well! You definitely held your own against Raymond... he's faster, but you show much better technique. Nice double bass action there for someone so modest, LOL! Great show of skills, indeed. And I love those TAMA kits! Is it yours? Starclassic Maple?
