Wordle: My New Favorite Thing

Wordle: While it's hardly "new", it's new to me, and I love it. Thanks to the Shack, I stumbled across Wordle.com which is a Java applet created by IBM programmer Jonathan Feinberg. You feed the program a block of text, website or a Delicious username and it generates a cloud of beautiful typographic art. You can then easily customize the color palette, font style, layout, etc. Much like great sex, it's easy, free and it's fun. And unprotected.

Here's one I churned out for my blog. I'm sure you'll all be far more creative with it; can't wait to see all your 2Wordle1Cup comments!

Glad I stumbled over here today, or I would never have seen this! I frellin' love wordle! :D I took a couple of paragraphs from a short story I wrote, and it looked totally sweet! There are not enough hours in the day for all of the neat things to do with this...But I am glad I now know of its existence!
