    Japanese Photo Booth Fun!

Olivia and I don't even need to go into a Japanese photo booth to have a good time. It's just what we do:

We actually did go inside, in case you're wondering, and some amazing television was made. You'll all see it in November, and I promise, it's epic.

Great Wired Article: Nine Inch Nails Stage-Tech

Whether you're a fan of their music or not, Nine Inch Nails has always pushed the tech-envelope; from music production to the band's live stage show, Trent Reznor has always embraced and forwarded all things digital. The latest NIN tour features giant screens, a metric ton of tech and some interactive visualizers that work so well fans often mistake them as completely pre-rendered!

If you're a fan of behind the scenes peeks, you owe it to yourself to read this Wired article that pulls back the digital curtain on the current Nine Inch Nails tour. Who knew Linux and LEDs could lead to such amazing things?

    Wordle: My New Favorite Thing

Wordle: While it's hardly "new", it's new to me, and I love it. Thanks to the Shack, I stumbled across Wordle.com which is a Java applet created by IBM programmer Jonathan Feinberg. You feed the program a block of text, website or a Delicious username and it generates a cloud of beautiful typographic art. You can then easily customize the color palette, font style, layout, etc. Much like great sex, it's easy, free and it's fun. And unprotected.

Here's one I churned out for my blog. I'm sure you'll all be far more creative with it; can't wait to see all your 2Wordle1Cup comments!

    Epic Rock Band 2 Gathering

No fancy editing for this bad boy, it's pure unadulterated Rock Band 2 madness. Enjoy Everlong, brought to you by several delicious glasses of Johnny Walker Blue Label:

Is it REALLY 4:17am? Already? Damn, that was an incredible evening. Thanks for coming out everyone!!

UPDATE: Because I'm still super proud of it, and it's one of my favorite Attack of the Show moments ever, I've tossed in a video of me drumming against Raymond Herrera of Fear Factory from three or four years ago. I think I was twelve. Good times...

And for the record, Raymond is still one of the nicest guys we've ever had on the show. Ever.

    Twixperiment 01: Nine Eleven

I’m often fascinated by the replies I receive on Twitter. Sometimes they’re ironic, often they’re hilariously sarcastic and occasionally they’re downright poetic. As such, I thought I’d throw out a topic, adjective, verb, whatever, and see how people reply. Today, because it permeated the airwaves with a nauseatingly thick vibe, I twittered “911″ and received this in return:

crc0427: we have forgotten what it means to be American
Pir4cy: When I think of 911 I think.. AMERICA FUCK YEAH WHATCHA GOING TO DO WHEN WE COME FOR YOU NOW…
Doomguy13: We got through it. We remembered the fallen. I believe we did our part. I just feel so bad for the family’s that lost mom and dads
hydraMIRAGE: Pain. Shock. Disbelief. I’m only 10 minutes from the city. My University was evacuated. I watched both towers fall
tr1gun: i think 911 is a good choice for an emergency number, though i do think 111 would be easier to remember.
giggleloop: 7 yrs ago, @ 8am husband woke me up to tell me a plane had hit the WTC. We watched CNN from then til I had to go to work @ 2pm.
Murphy1d: Sad thing is I moved a project deadline off of 9/11 just because the day seemed like bad luck
vinceruth: 9/11 is a day I saw too much and made me realize I didn’t “live” enough-ultimately getting me to change the way I was living
DominickEvans: 9/11 hasn’t taught us much of anything, except when in doubt, attack a country that had nothing to do with the attacks!
Suhaila: that was the topic? Man i totally forgot what day it was….i suppose that means i did my part to not let terrorists win.
Beatsmith: 911… Unneeded preventable destruction and death.
TheCroft: was told I could go home then. We didn’t have any customers anyway. Very uneventful.
mgrovesensation: Doesn’t Guliani get royalties whenever someone says that?
    rachiebachie: quiet skies. Loud hearts.
    A_lexj: Surprise ButtSecks!!!

    Subway Baseball: Shinjuku, Japan.

After a long day of shooting, we stumbled across a one-man baseball showdown taking place in the JR Train Station. His throwing and base stealing skills were impressive, but he proved to be no match for the international batsmith known as: Pereira.

    Improvised-Subway-Mime-Baseball Pwnage. Epic.
